Regulations of MAGDA PETROVANU chemistry contest

1. Chemistry contest MAGDA PETROVANU aims to discover and promote school children inclined to study chemistry, from the secondary cycle and high school, from Iasi and neighboring counties, as well as students of our faculty.

2. The contest is organized at Al. I. Cuza University of Iasi, Faculty of Chemistry, Carol I Bvd. no. 11 (The 2013 edition took place on April 20 2013 , starting at 10.30 AM)

3. There is no registration or participation fee.

4. The coordinating teacher or the candidate have to fill in an application on-line. Each teacher can register no more than 3 children from each class, no more than 6 children from secondary school and 12 children from high school). 5. The contest consists of a written multiple choice test based on the recommended          literature references, with a duration of 1hours (for the secondary cycle) and 2 hours (for high school children). The candidates can see model tests on the web page of the contest (http://concurs.chem.uaic.ro).

6. The candidates need the ID card; the entrance in the contest rooms will be between     9⁴⁵-10¹⁵.

7. The results will be communicated and the prize award ceremony will take place during the day of the contest.

8. For the candidates from 12th class, the grade obtained at this contest can be used instead of the admission grade for the next academic year.
