Journal Aims and Scope

Acta Chemica Iași (ISSN 2067-2438, EISSN 2067-2446) is devoted to the publication and dissemination of short communications, concise and moderate-length research articles or review articles.

Acta Chemica Iași publishes high-quality papers that present concise overviews of fundamental, experimental, and theoretical research, along with practical applications in the fields of organic, inorganic, physical, and theoretical chemistry. The journal highlights topics such as chemical synthesis, photochemistry, biochemistry, catalysis, materials science, medicinal chemistry, environmental chemistry, forensic chemistry, polymer chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, and computational approaches including modeling and docking studies. Contributions addressing chemical education or demonstrating meaningful interactions between chemistry and other scientific disciplines are also encouraged. The journal's mission is to serve as a vibrant scientific forum where researchers can showcase their most recent discoveries and exchange significant, innovative, and forward-looking ideas.

• Rapid Publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision is provided to authors approximately 6 weeks after submission.

Acta Chemica Iași publishes one volume per year, comprising two issues, published at the end of June and December.

Acta Chemica Iași is committed to rigorous scientific standards and adheres to a comprehensive Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement aligned with international best practices. The journal accepts only original submissions that have not been previously published, are not under review, and are not in press elsewhere. Manuscripts lacking adequate experimental evidence or methodological support will not be considered for publication.
